About The Event

Hong Kong Date/ Time: 22 August 2020 at 5:00 - 7:30pm 

It is a crossover class with Slow Food Hong Kong, a global, grassroots organization linking the pleasure of good food with a commitment to local communities and the environment. 

In this class, Chef Andrea Consoli will be teaching students to make the following dishes:

1. Appetizer - Ricotta Fritters

These Ricotta Fritters will be made by lightly dipping dumplings in a delicious beer batter. It will then be served with a freshly prepared pesto made with grape tomatoes, basil, garlic, parmesan cheese, and toasted almonds.

2. Main dish - Cacio e Pepe

A true classic of the Roman cuisine, a creamy dish with a peppery pungent taste that will please every palate from beginners to amateurs and avid cooks. The saltiness of pecorino romano balanced perfectly with the toasted black peppercorns and it makes this dish simple, but creamy and absolutely a must and masterpiece of the roman recipes

In the class, Chef Andrea will teach us the professional chef's secret skill of properly cooking these popular authentic Roman dishes. You can cook delicious food it's a great experience to share with your family! Cooking and eating together is a great time for gathering! We encourage foodies to cook with family and friends.

Special cooking Equipment:

  • Blender/food processor
  • Pan for cooking the pasta

Ticket and logistics:

  • Cooking time should take about 2-2.5 hours at most, so you have time to chat with the chef and ask questions.
  • Each household only needs 1 ticket.
  • The ingredient list will be sent out 1 week prior to class.
  • Zoom information will be provided 2 days before class.
  • The class is non-refundable upon registration.
